Even with that dumb auto correct , you would think more people would go to another type of phone, I do all my texts from my reliable blackberry even though I have 2 other iphones. I hate iphones.. but I am a creature of habit.. my husband is a fan of the water resistant- HE SAYS.. galaxy. I have to figure which phones are best for pulling up our site and twitter and reviews quickest.. so iphones still rule in NYC?

There are more Android phones in use in the US than iPhones, but more iPhones than Samsung Galaxy phones.  I don't know specifically about NY, however.

But your best bet is just to make a website that is viewable from any mobile web browser.  If you make one that looks good on a small screen, it will be viewable from both Android devices and iPhones (and probably Blackberrys).  Try googling "Mobile Website Design".

Good Luck!

if you're working with a u/x designer or developer, make sure they understand "Responsive Design"--this will solve almost all issues

My regular phone is smart but my hobby phone isn't.  I browse mostly from a secure / blocked / protected old desktop.  No cookie trails, etc..  There are many sites I can't even view any more because of flash and other crap that's been UNNECESSARILY thrown in.

I suggest a home page with options:

Click here for [vanilla html].  Click here for [mobile site].  Click here for [flash / enhanced / fancy site].

THANKS
