Meeting for coffee or tea prior to first private encounter is this a common thing in nyc?

It's rare, but not unheard of for women to incorporate something like this into their security.

On the other hand, guys making the request is nowhere near as common.  I don't hate the idea of seeing someone first to determine if there is chemistry, but that's what Meet & Greets are for.  

If someone wants to meet you, they can pay for your time.  And if they choose to use that time for coffee rather than playing, that's their choice, I suppose.

We have the lady's website and reviews to guide us. I can see how for a lady though, some may be more selective about who they wish to see - so even though you may have the $$$ they look for some "chemistry". Some very low volume VIP ladies may want to meet you first for 10-15 minutes to size you up. Just my guess, I've never been in this situation.

Totally agree on both counts. One woman, whom I have seen multiple times, always prefers to meet at a bar near her place for a drink before returning to her apartment. Initially it was to check me out, but it became a nice ritual. The point is, she wanted to do it and had no expectations that it was part of our "session." On the other hand, I wouldn't presume to ask that of someone I was seeing for the first time, unless I intended to pay for her time. I guess it is part of the dialectical nature of the business.

Girls who know how to screen don't need to "check you out" at Starbucks first.  Guys like the idea because they get to see the girl they're interested in before ponying up the Benjis, but 99 gals out of 100 won't give anyone their time for free.  If you want some face time like that, go to a Meet & Greet.  You'll pay up to $100 to get in but it usually covers booze and food.  I've met some amazing women at M&Gs with whom I've sessioned later.  It's really nice to see someone you've already met.

Why do you think the girls alone are the ones looking for "chemistry".  I actually think that's much more important to the guys.  At least, to the guys who want real GFE.  If you are just looking to bang a hot chick and don't care about chemistry, then pics are all you really need.  But for a good GFE, nothing beats meeting first.

Generally speaking, I only use reviews to make sure a girl is legit.  Not LE and not a Rip off.  But the rest of the review is usually useless to me.  Different guys like different things and have extremely varying levels of satisfaction for the same service.  I have had poor experiences with well reviewed girls, and I have had amazing experiences with poorly reviewed girls.

And websites don't help much either.  Lots of girls don't show their faces.  That's one of the most important things to me.  More than anything else, I like a pretty face.

There have been plenty of girls with great sites that just didn't do it for me in person, and likewise, I have met several girls at M&G's who I never would have seen based on their web sites, but seeing them in person made all the difference

It turned out great.  We pretty much attacked each other once alone in the elevator and again once the door to the room closed.  I think the meeting before really added to the experience.

That is a good idea for most backpage gals who aint reviewed. You may wanna meet them to verify first.
