Hi hobbiests and providers...I hope its ok for me to post here about this. I've never been to NYC I'm completely overwhelmed spent this evening walking around scoping things out. You can privately email me or post to this question but I was wondering where do most providers go to hobby here hotel wise? Because I was walking past the hotels and they are all heavily secured..I'm sure nobody wants that/questioned when coming into the hotel? Ill be driving to NY then taking the bus system to Manhattan mall then do I take a taxi from there or do I take the bus somewhere else///soooo confused lol:) so what hotels do I use...how do the girls do it here? Your city is massive!:)     [email protected]

A open board like this, where just ANYONE can read what we post, is NOT a good place to ask about hotels.
For safety reasons, PLEASE do not discuss this in a public board.
I will mail you and I believe other local ladies will do too.

Pay attention to Betty's PM.  I am sure it will be helpful.  Bottom line, without naming hotels, is that midtown has plenty of nice hotels without aggressive security, and you should stay away from Times Square.  The hotels near there are a nightmare.

Welcome!

You gotta try my chocolate tea.  I look forward to chatting with you. As I said in email, Betty is someone you can trust implicitly.

NYC is a great place to be a companion and it's definitely "do-able"! I've never had a problem with any Midtown hotels.... I'll PM you a few!

Helping me! The ladies and gents have been SOOO helpful I compiled a list from what everyone said and decided to stay in one of the hotels Midtown East like you guys all said. Thanks again I REALLY appreciate it SO much! xoxo Milana
