Athletes Foot

From what I can tell, they no longer have even the shared sandals.  I have gotten athletes foot twice at WGS. It's just not worth it anymore.

And there's now way I would tip more than $40 for their competent, but not outstanding, service.

Been a tried and true regular at WestGarden but recently have stopped going because of tipping issues. I though a tip of 40-50 was fine, but a couple of the young ladies scrunched their noses and looked upset with my tip. I don't get an "extraordinary" service and think I'm being as generous as the next bloke. What's the deal? Am I being too frugal or just reading too much into their reactions?

Thanks for your input.

Unfortunelty, most spa girls work strictly on tips.

then issues came up. The major problem was that they succeeded beyond all expectations. The management work the girls sometimes 14-16 hours per day with minimal rest or time for a decent meal. They started being more and more exhausted, less and less into what they were doing. The managament required them to take care of nearly any paying guy who walked in, Boy, have I seen some types in the locker room...

Then there was the issue of sanitation. They don't give their customers disposable sandals but the locker room and shower have constantly wet floors and then the same germs are tracked everywhere by barefoot men. Pretty soon, every time I went there I got tough cases of genital fungi, otherwise known as jock itch that took a good six weeks to get rid of. First I tried skipping the table shower, that didn't help. Strike one for WGS.

They'd get a cute girl with some real energy, like Nina, she'd quit, and same with the other hot one. You're left with the exhausted old troopers. Strike two.

I was OK with tipping, tipped them very fairly, but all the clothes always stayed on, no suckling, no skin to skin pleasures, and the happy endings weren't that refined. Strike three...

My conclusion is that massage houses that deserve the money compared to what you get at a full service place are damned rare, and the full service places normally have a higher standard of hygeine. I've never been to a full service establishment as totally GROSS as several of the massage parlors I used to frequent.

WGS ironically is an attractive business, well decorated, nice lighting, where I contracted the worst itch. There was a disgusting Chi-Gong Tui Na parlor downtown, it would be charitable to call it funky, but I never caught anything there and had the best spontaneous sex experiences. They changed, got visited by the fuzz once or twice, no more mufti pufti... a blast while it lasted...

Maybe Sacred Beauty is open. Tried them, wasn't overly impressed. Another mini-mill pushing the tantra schmantra.

Daniela was my favorite by far. She'd lay you face down on her big bed, grease up and slither all over then flip you over and massage you soo sensitively.... she's gone and there's nobody I know about who do it like she would.

The girls earn only $10 per customer, and yet are required to stay 14-16 hours per day.  They don't get to go out for lunch (they have to either bring their own or cater in).  They have to tip in for the soaps and shampoos as well as pay the shampoo girls (the management does not pay for the shampoo girls).  Most of them live in Queens, so they have to spend $20 for a cab ride home at 2 a.m.  I know that a few girls actually live there, in order to save $.  Life is not easy for them.

On the other hand, paying $140 for a pathetic HJ with no roaming?  Some girls don't even know how to massage (your body or your shaft).  I used to go there when you were able to roam to the southern cave.  But now?  Forget it.  There are better places.
