If you typically get more than you pay for, I would like to know how. Heck, I would pay to know how you do that.

It would be more accurate for you to resent the financial ability of NYC's clientle, rather than what NYC gets in a free market for orchestrating and delivering a superior service.

I've had enough mediocre experiences with inconsistent providers at cheaper prices. You can have them.

That phrase in really meaningless in the world in which we play, as there is no such thing as commodity pricing. Nor should there be, of course, as our lovely ladies are not commodities.

I can say that I have had some wonderful times with Sasha for signifcantly less $$ than I could ever have booked Scarlet through NYC for. Does this mean I got more than I paid for?

The fact that one has the financial ability to drop $1k for an ice cream sundae at Serendipity does not mean that one is going to do so. Personally, instead of spending that $1k on an hour with a lady from NYC, I would rather spend it on two hours with those amazing English girls who, sadly, are leaving us this week. Matter of fact, I did - more than once.

If you are satisified with NYC's service, then by all means, use it. But to imply, as you do, that this is the only way to get "superior service" and that the universe of providers outside of Jason's stable are "inconsistent" and provide a "mediocre experience" is the height of arrogance, and an affront to those many independent ladies who do consistently provide a superior service. Simply put, sir, you are wrong.

Let me do a little analogy so you can understand why prices are what they are.
Why do you think there are so many different types of car models in the market at so many different prices if they all serve the same purpose, transporting you from one place to another?
Why would anyone pay 200k for a ferrari when they can buy a honda for 15k? If you just feel that the car doesn't warrant the price, it doesn't mean that you are right or that you can go to the dealership and demand them to get real because you feel the prices are absurd. It's all about tastes and monetary solvency.
BTW, have you ever seen any of the girls at NYCon?

Every buyer has a market for the price they intend or wish to pay. Regardless of price, their value is different.

There are bad experiences in the middle and low and, and for educated and savvy players, there are some amazing experiences in that price range.

I don't know about the consitency of the high-end, but I have experienced good and bad at the high end.

Sometimes a Ferrari and a Hyundi can both break down. High price doesn't assure anything, and neither does low price assure anything. You can be right and wrong, no matter what you pay.

Do your homework, and you are rewarded. And make sure you read between the lines of both the crappy and rave reviews.

I'll be brave , mainly because I am leaving the wonderful city of New York shortly. I cannot comment on other girls or other agencies, but I think you should expect something different or unique in anyone over 1K , I have travelled far to be here, been in magazines, and work hard to stay trim, and I like a selective client. If I lived in New York and was not staying at a very expensive hotel, I may be different. In fact I am sure I would be. If I return for an extended period next year, I am sure I will adjust a little. I respect that we all have a budget, as do all the girls. This is a big city and everyone has the right to their opinions, but do try to not be angry in your comments. Lets all have fun.

I have seen several NYC girls and reviewed three of them. Rates varied from high to very high.  Some were spectacular, however, I have also seen girls from other agencies such as ML that have been as good as some (but not all!) of my NYC experiences.  I suspect there are some great indies out there and hope to see one soon.

I agree that NYC is very expensive, however, there are others that are even more expensive which I haven't used.  I don't have any hostility toward those agencies even though they are probably out of my price range or at least what I'm willing to pay.

Remember, ALL reviews around here are "fictional stories that are posted by TER solely for entertainment purposes." (See review guideline number 15.)

But not all reviews are created equal, and some reviews are more fictional than others.

Hyabby, a toast to you for one of the most useful responses I have read in this tabloid. I am surprised noone has jumped on NYC's claim to be the ONLY agency not to keep records. I find that hard to believe. Back to the topic of the hour....I'm not sure there is an entertainer that's worth a grand an hour. As Kosmo Kramer so eloquently states..."Retail is for suckers".
