They released the additional charges against her to the public today. She has a huge mountain to climb on this one. Approxiametly 54 counts, all felonies.
Sexual Acts, Rape all involving minors under 17 yo with the actors being 21 yo or older.
Additional promotion charges.
And the feds have not gotten involvedyet with the financial charges or the State with their financial charges (yes the state has a criminal tax division also).
Now to some total BS posted: A review went up on the NY Review Boards for SORINA dated 2/15/05. HOW????
Julies was busted and closed down over 1 week prior.
Why are these reviews accepted when any person who is alive and living in NYC and can read a newspaper or even look at the front page pictures knows what went on and that they are closed.
When Julie's was first busted, there was some confusion about how serious to take this. Some hobbyists accused those of us who were very concerned with being "paranoid". I hope that only the fools on Craig's List contact the ex-julie's girls and take one for the team so that the girls can identify them as former customers, without even taking off their clothes, to be subpoened as hostile witnesses for the prosecution.
I personally never said that being paranoid was not GOOD. Everyone who ever visited Julie, iewed her website, joked about the actions and inactions of her girls, wrote ficticious stories to gain publicity should be looking over their shoulders for a tap from the police, DA or feds and expect a subp.
One thing I never understood when reading all the boards from the people who attended Julies was why was all her telephone staff names Russian. Was there a connection somewhere, if you get the drift?
What is this I am reading about regarding kidnappings from the newspapers? How can anyone who speaks and reads English and is seeing countless people daily not communicate to someone that they are being held against their free will and alert the authorities annonymously fro assistance.

I can't stress this enough: the DA and feds are not going to go after the johns. It makes no sense to spend all this money going after misdemeanors. Otherwise, they would have pressed charges on the johns they actually caught in the act, but they didn't. Those three guys all walked. They are going after Julie for all these charges. If they're going to get anybody to testify against her, it'll be the girls or the phone workers after cutting a deal. Please don't intentionally get everybody worked up over this by spreading rumors of clients being pursued. It just doesn't make sense, legally or monetarily, from a DA's perspective to go after the clients.

I do not know much about the review process so maybe you can explain it to me. I have had reviews go up that were from awhile back, say almost three months. But they had submitted way after the fact.
So I guess my actual question would be is:
How long does it take to get a review approved. I have some go up 24 hours after meeting the person to a while after.
So how long usually?
