Lol.  The industry has matured -- that is, transformed from a largely underground, crime laced shadow-world to a mostly open business that has robust competition and very efficient markets.  

Much of the really interesting talk that went on here a decade or two ago concerned the growing pains of this business -- the transformation above.  

Now it's mostly done.  And....it's not as interesting.

I love TER! I love my fantasy reviews! I find it hard get people who are willing & able to write reviews. I surf these boards in search of likeminded fun friends. I am willing to travel. I update my website with incentives for longer epic bookings. The Universe will align what’s right for you.

In addition to the points already made, I think the biggest issue is times have moved on.  Many of the old guard, men and women, have drifted away from this board, even the hobby for one reason or another.  Factor in F/S in 2017 and the migration began quickly to social media.  Then add in covid...........I think times have simply changed and the people who are most active in this little world now don't usually factor this site into the equation in the way it used to be a major factor.

Simple - too many "white knights"...... No one wants to give honest info. Because the white knights are gonna tell on the guys trying to share good intel.
