I would prefer a mature man over a man child any day. Men that have lived are sexier, more confident and more interesting. A have had some great conversations with older men and it has always been a most rewarding experience.
I'm not getting any younger and, looking into the not-so-distant future, am wondering if there's a point at which providers will begin to lose interest in older men. My main interest is Asian agencies.
I am in the same situation. I wouldn't blame a provider if the didn't want an older client as I am not attracted to most "older" women myself. However from reading it seems like most agencies discriminate against the younger guys. Not sure why myself. Although I do feel for them sometimes I wish I had such a problem, same as the guys denied for being to big.

I see way more "discrimination" against younger men (in their 20s) than older men. In my experience, discrimination against older men, while it exists, is not prevalent. You may also wish to see the "Over 60" forum.
I used quotes around discrimination as sometimes those who are younger lack the maturity for the hobby and some providers aren't interested in breaking in newbies.
