Hello,

I am back and curious to see what your opinion is about this one:

Recently I have noticed that many people use pictures of children for their profile on facebook. I understand if you are careful and selective on facebook, but why would you apply to be an escort friend online using the picture of a naked child?

Recently I started deleting a number of people from my friends list using kids pics as I find it inappropriate and t creeps the hell out of me.

I shall mention that some of the pics had weird vibes about them.

Shouldn't facebook take more responsability?

Am I been paranoyed or do you also find it weird?

Could this be a sign of something sinister?

Considering the nature of what I promote, it makes me only suspicious that someone wants to be my friend and use a child's pic.

Please do share your thought

PS
Nce to be back :)

Anything with naked children you should absolutely delete because you do not want your email, website, and web activities connected to anything that has naked children involved. I honestly find it hard to believe that Facebook would allow that and I'm sure it's just a matter of time before it goes unnoticed.

My sister, had a bunch of professional family shots done when her first daughter was born.  Shots of her, my mom, and my brother-in-law holding the cute, naked little munchkin.

I've paid tech support calls to people's homes where their desktop picture was there 2 kids, probably 5 years old or so, playing naked on a beach.

My cousin sent our family mailing list a link to his online family pics where he was giving his 1 year old a bath.

Not being a parent, my first instinct was slight shock (especially at the ones on the internet).  It would never have occurred to me to put naked baby pics anywhere others could see them.

But as often as I have come across this, I wonder if I am being overly cautious.  After all, there is a difference between child porn, and innocent family photos.

As I said, I don't have children, so others will definitely have a more personal view of this issue.  I bow to the judgement of the parents.
