Whoever wrote that piece lost me having an issue with 69.  Really, what's not to like about 69?  Great views if the lady is on top, and both partners get to pleasure each other...a favorite during foreplay.   Sex in pools is cool too, though I would recommend standing doggie rather than picking her up.  #1 is also good...a good variant is the scissors position where the dude lies on his side, legs open, while the lady lies astride from him at a 90 degree angle. legs open with her top leg over his, with each holding the others butt to assist in thrusting.  If this becomes tiring, it's easy to switch to either mish or CG without disengaging.
