I think there is an option where all the calls that go to your cell number, can be re-routed to another number of your choice. The number its being re-routed to, wont be known to the caller. So if you chose a land line to have diverted calls go to, it will remain private to those callers, as they will only know the advertised number they are calling.

Can you call your phone company to ask about this feature? I plan on looking into this feature, when I  travel to Europe again.

It is a crisis when that happens!
