A no-show

I was going to have a date this morning at 8am. I woke up at 530am to prepare myself to look great, did my hair, makeup, prepared a new set of lingerie. I came to a 5 star hotel where I was supposed to meet the gentleman to find out that no one is staying in that room. Why would someone do something like that to a provider? What kind pleasure does someone get for ruining someone's day like that? Am I missing something here?

Was this a reputable hobbyist? Did they have good references? I would be very angry! Sorry you did all of that for an embarrassing time wasting morning. At least the room was empty!

Thank you for understanding! The best part is that I did my due diligence. I checked his references. Well, only one came back to me and said that "he is one of the best clients she knows". I usually take 2-3 references. But I only had one evening to verify, so it wasn't enough time to obtain responses from all providers I emailed. But I thought since one of the references came back outstanding plus a five star hotel, there would be no red flags.

Did you message his reference and let her know what happened? And did you add him to the blacklist? Warn others!

Did you verify the provider who gave you a positive reference?

I received a note from an LA-based provider a few weeks ago regarding a guy who utilized references to schedule dates that actually checked out. He's done this multiple times, under multiple aliases and managed to dupe the provider each and every time into scheduling and then reneging. So it happens...

It is obvious that this guy (as some guys who harass providers) is a sad individual with nothing better to do but harass someone trying to earn a living. He's someone that most likely cannot afford to see you and is not someone you'd want to see anyway, because clearly, he is prone to sadistic behavior.

LOL at a 1.2K price tag ..

So the fact is at her RIDICULOUS rate, she probably get like minimal contact and $$ desperation sets in so any contact is good contact, so without doing proper homework she takes the chance in hopes of making money.

Maybe considering having a NORMAL rate that way you won't have to take risk and not in desperation to try to do a job because no one else want to waste their HARD EARN money for a mere hour to getting his dick wet.   Not even wet since he is forced to wear a condom....LOL :)

Sorry he didn't stood you up, he stood you up when he realize the future regret of giving 1K for a hr or less of getting off.

This coming from a ad with no nudity and fully clothed pictures, I guess she has a lot of imperfections that need to be hidden under clothes.

Last minute cancellation and being stood up are always bad. Maybe screen more heavily next time?!

To preclude guys like this from booking time with them, regardless of their rate.

Looking at her rate structure, it appears that she prefers longer appointments.  I've seen this with several other ladies as well.  If I was booking time with her, I would certainly go that route since it's my preference anyway.

If her rates and photos are a source of irritation for you, just stay in your lane.

I've come to realize while references are great, when it comes to hotel outcalls it comes in handy to always call the hotel and ask the front desk to connect you to mr so so in room 123 (obv text client first to make sure he is in room to answer phone). This way you will know 100% wether that same person who scheduled really has a room at that hotel.

Sorry you had to go through that... total ass. You should Blist him.

I'm sorry you were stood up, but there's a lot of missing info.  WHEN did this happen? An hour before you posted to TER? A couple of days before you posted? Have you tried to contact the guy, other than at 8am? Have you given the guy a chance to get back to you by phone or email to explain what happened and to offer to make up for your inconvenience?
.
Did you CALL him before you arrived to confirm (and maybe wake him up)? (30 minutes before? one hour before?) Did you call him WHEN you arrived? You only say, "no one is staying in that room." You went straight to the room at 8AM and started knocking and got no answer?  How do you know that the room was unoccupied? I've never had to ask the front desk for such info but I can't imagine that they would provide the info, either. Did you try to call the room from the house phone?
.
I've also got to ask: Were you at the right hotel? Manhattan has quite a few duplicate high end hotels. There are, like, 6 Sheratons, 4 Ws, 15 Marriots, ... .  You do say that is was 5 star hotel, but by which rating system? (Everybody claims to be a 5* hotel but not all of them are.) (Not a hotel, but I once rushed to an incall and I hurriedly went to East xx St. instead of West xx St.!  I called. She was ok with it. I arrived a little late, but it worked out great.)
.
MAYBE HE WAS ASLEEP (and didn't hear his cell phone or room phone)! Maybe he was drunk / hungover. "What do you do if your client has a medical crisis?" has come up in two separate threads recently. (One of them started by NYC Smartie - where's Smartie?)  Maybe the guy was rushed to the hospital at 7:30 AM, over-excited with anticipation of your visit.  There was another recent thread on "NCNS excuses that we have received. ['I lost my phone.' 'I had to bring my parakeet to the vet.' 'I forgot my email password.']
.
Lots of NCNS threads include replies along the lines of "Don't rush to judgement." and I guess I'm that wet blanket on this one.
.
You will never get back that morning and the wasted time and effort.  But there may some explanation to come that will lessen the lingering annoyance to some extent.

I did. But she referenced to her disclaimer that it was "strictly her personal experience".

I did. She seems like a reputable provider. Although, it has been several days now and I haven't heard from other providers that I emailed to verify him. That's odd to me.

Haha, thank you for your time replying to my post. I don't know why you think I want a maximum contact. I'm not interested in the maximum turnover. I prefer a few but quality dates where there is a chemistry between two. Desperation for me is when you meet 100 clients a day for $60 per 15 minutes. But thanks for your opinion ;)

Impposter, thank you for your response. I posted to ter I think as soon as I came home. Right   I left my house, I emailed him to say that I'm on my way. But I didn't get his response. I thought it was early in the morning and that's why maybe he wasn't looking at his phone. When I got to the hotel, the front desk asked me where I was going. When I mentioned the room #, they checked their system and told me that no one stays in that room. Surprisingly enough, they let me go up and check for myself. Obvious enough, no one opened a door. I emailed him again, and he never replied back. Well things happen, lessons learned, and time to concentrate on other things, a lot more positive than this experience.
Thank you everyone for your support. Stay safe and happy!! ;-)

But i never go to a hotel until i have verified that he is staying at the hotel and I always call the hotel directly to put me through to the room so i can speak with him/her directly.

If they don't comply with this request then write them off.

This will save you money and time.

Sx
