Would love advice on NY Swing clubs.  I've read posts about both Le Trapeze and Checkmates.  My gf has agreed to a full swap, and I'm trying to decide which place is best.

Most reviews say Le Trapeze has less attractive people than Checkmates, and the place is more run down.  But, people say full swaps happen at Le Trapeze, where at Checkmates people tend to just stay with their partner exclusively.  Be interested in what either providers or other hobbiest who have been there think.

Anybody have a real different take on either place than the above?  If you wanted a full swap, with hopefully a reasonably attractive couple, where would you go on a Friday night?

we saw all degrees of play... some full swap, some soft swap, some just watching. As you get more experience in the lifestyle, you will find that you can rarely categorize a club as "full swap" or not. Every club is a reflection of the people who are there on any night.  

Of course, I live in the epicenter of swinging (south Florida), so I am used to some pretty hot action... and we were there on a rainy Friday. That night at Checkmate, the crowd wasn't large-- but the people were sexy and attractive. I'm hoping to go again when I'm there in a couple of weeks.

I'd avoid Trapeze in NYC. Dingy, dirty and dated.

My advice-- go with someone who you really enjoy, and count any extracurricular play as a sexy bonus to your evening.

Over the past several years I've visited Le Trapeze a handful of times. I've also been to Checkmates twice.
I would have to say that Le Trapeze can be hit or miss on any given night. I've seen some nights where its really dead and not much is going on in the great grand "red room" as I call it, and other times where it looks like there a great big orgy taking place with several couples involved. In general, I've witnessed the most action at Le Trapeze and there have been multiple times where I've seen full swaps going on.

I've seen some pretty good looking people at Le Trapeze, but I've also seen some trashy looking people so I guess you never know until you show up

Lets go with the optimistic assumption that people are using condoms when they are swinging.  

I was wondering about the couples that go swinging.  Do fluid bonded couples that swing use condoms with each other when at a swing club?  Is that part of the etiquette?  Or do they do what's natural with each other and just use condoms when engaging with others?  Is such behavior accepted or forbidden

From what I've seen people in "fluid bonded" couples usually play bare with each other but use condoms when swap.

I also visited there recently and it was definitiley full swing.
