Perhaps its too expensive to live here? I have seen Brasilian providers in several different countries and in Brazil itself, they charge so little. Yes there are some here in NYC, but very rarely are they the voluptuous women with that distinctive, BIG ass and wide hips. Additionally, many of the ones that are here, either don't like to DFK or BBJ. It's not me, those are their rules.
If some of those amazingly curvy providers from Brazil were to come here, they could make a lot of money. None of the Brasileirinhas (the brazilian female pornstars) visit nyc either.

Rachel is Brazilian, and has a truly spectacular natural body (natural D or maybe a little larger).  I don't see anything on her website that would clue you into her nationality, but she is.  She and I spent some time discussing when she and I met.  She also has a wonderful personality.

I appreciate the replies- both those that list a provider and those that try to answer the question. First, to the providers suggested:  They are all very attractive and exotic looking, but are not really what I'm talking about. In Brazilian culture, it is the Bunda- the ass- that is the attraction on a woman's body for most men. Here, the bust is emphasized much more. Pornstars like Monica Santhiago, Bruna Ferraz, Mayara Rodriguez, Joyce Oliveira are examples of the wide hips, big thighs and large, round ass that I am talking about. 14" or more between waist and hips. I think most American men don't like these proportions and so the Brazilian providers that do come here and stay, only do well when they appeal more to the American aesthetic. Yes, they are curvy- and "exotic", but not like the women I mentioned above.
As to the explanations as to why they don't come here - I DO think economics is a big part and the risk/reward dynamic, But they DO go to other countries (England, Ireland, Spain are a few that I know of) where the risk/reward would be quite similar to the U.S.

Sorry, I failed to note the emphasis on the ass.  Probably because I prefer busty combined with a smaller ass and the physique that most would call athletic.  Guess it isn't bad that we don't all go for the same type.  Best of luck.
