... she didn't rat on anyone. In fact she says she loves Anna and loves her job. So she gave a few very harmless details about what her job is like. So what.

Perhaps you didn't see the end of the movie: he ratted on his friends and saved his own ass!

For example, she admits that a lot of girls use out of date photos that are more flattering. That she didn't doll herself up with too much makeup. That she only got half the fee and had to work for several agencies to make ends meet. That she had very little personal contact with the Madame. And that the job wasn't at all glamorous.

It's not like she's breaking new ground, here. But it's refreshing to see this in the mainstream media.

This is one smart girl.  She saw no one was stepping up to assist her financially, legally to ease her out of her situation.  So she used the only leverage she has, her mouth (as she has been using it for economic gain as a working girl), to talk to LE and the press to get herself out of her situation without any jail time or other problems.
She is not sitting behind bars, not spending 100K on attys fees, and time spent.
She talked as all would, and dont deny that you would not try to leverage your asses if it benefited you.
Now she moves on with her life, in another city, probably working again at the same profession, with a new name in advertising and agency work.
Everyone trying to be so righteous when its not their asses looking at time on Rikers and a lot of money spent on attys.  Now she walks away and stuck it to a person or persons who took half her earnings in the first place for the privilege of answering a telephone.
Every illegal biz has it consequences, and one is jail and the other is your employees turning against you and your clients to leverage their own problems away.
You al want silence, become attys so everything said is privileged communication.  But then again, you ladies are charging more than any good atty does for the hour and you are not providing anyone with their freedom.  And they say attys are whores, guess the shoes on the other foot now.
To secure ones freedom, maybe the attys should also be charging 1000 p/hr and see if they have clients lining up at the door or screaming for reductions in fees.

Cannt use ill gotten gains for bail, need to prove where the money legitimately came from.  Cannot do that in an illegal biz.  Get schooled in what money can be used for what purposes. They investigate where the money came from for one bail application.
Just proves, the clients walk away and let the heat fall, so the only leverage one has is the names and maybe the clients will come forward and provide assistance. Ha, never happens.

Not the first time one of these ladies went public; probably did so in order to avoid trouble with LE.  This particular bust got attention on Geraldo at Large last week-end on FNC, speculating that prominent politicians may have been in her black book/database.  

The usual applies...be wary when dealing with agencies, and stick with indies at all times if possible.

OMFG!!! What are you thinkin???... There is the famous saying; There's achance if you play, you might pay.. However, unspoken rule is to ALWAYS keep your mouth shut and let your lawyer handle it. The problem is that people get scared and diareaha start running at the mouth. STUPID.. And the anwser to EVERY question should be I DON'T KNOW... Wow peopele have no integrotiy, nor self-respect. If 1 person gets caught, then 1 goes down.. What good does it do to offer info on anyone else? Just to ruin all of your lives... WOW some people just need to keep thier day job... Me too it really is disgusting that some can run their mouth. What kind of system do we have when the worst can sing like a canary but walk free and to be glammed up and posted in the paper. When the luster of your five minutes in the spotlight is gone, it will be a real eye opener when know one either wants to know your name or knows your name. If only these days could come tomorrow so adults could live normal enjoyable lives building adult friendships.

That's tabloid news folks... That's Fox News sensationalism you're getting swept up in... The world is on a 24 hour new cycle these day. In one ear, one day and out the other ear, the next day. Everyone let's just get past this.

Guys, whether you visit an agency or an independent - let's get back to having fun... Keep in mind folks, what two consenting adults do (making a mutually agreed upon decision (in private) is just that - a decision that is made in private.

Too bad to hear that someone didn't want to keep the party going in their little world and wanted to turn the tables. Again, I just want to move past all of this tabloid journalism that's getting everyone jittery. Lighten the mood in the room.

I thought the piece on Geraldo on this was quite amusing, as what usually get's reported in the media.  It had nothing to do with the lady that went public...it was a side piece where an assistant PI went through the motions of applying to become an escort with a few of the agencies that advertise in the Voice, to show how "shockingly" that sex was part of deal.  Gee, ya think?  

As far as my comment on indies vs. agencies, that's based on my personal preferences and experiences that have served me well for years.

This is a situation that needed to be brought to everyone's attention... Due to safety formost. This is something for the guys/girls to take seriously. It's not jsut some little stupid post that is irreleveant to TER... Trust, we know the stressess of everyday life we all live it. This so happens to be one of them simply for safety issues. This is not an issue to ignore. as well as not keep bringing it up. Crazy Diamond is absolutley right... Stay away from angencies... I can't stand when someone takes a situation like this so lighltly, but wants to complain about little everyday life. We are all havind fun!! As well as staying safe

It is funny how people want to "put in their .02" and try to alienate agencies. There are a number of agencies out there that are awesome and very cautious. So say stay away from agencies and conveniently forget to mention that Independents too can be infiltrated by LE? Are you serious? I am aware of independents out there that have been caught and then work with LE to give references to unsuspecting providers trying to do their due diligence and get them busted as well. Your opinion is noted, but to continue to bash Agencies is just spiteful. If you choose not to utilize agencies, that is your decision. But, trying to influence how others should hobby is not necessary and one sided as both independents AND agencies get busted. We all accepted the possibilities of getting busted when starting this hobby and accept the risks when partaking.

As for you Amsterdam, why are YOU saying stay away from Agencies? Business slow?

As for the whole thing with the bust: WHY did it take 5 years to bust this agency??? Because LE were more interested in setting up their own for the internal investigation. If they had 5 years of evidence (audio & video), why did they let it continue especially if there are alleged minors involved?? The media is highjacking the message that should be addressed here.............Why did the NYPD allow the trafficking of underage girls for 5 whole years??? I think that we are not being told everything and acting on blind impulses. I guess that is how the government expects us all to act. What a shame.

I understand where you are coming from there are a few good ones out there.. No my buisness is far from slow sweetie.. However, if it comes down to it; It is the agencies they want to bust over Idys. I was just saying to be careful all the ways around...
