Ditto! I seriously doubt whether there's any top-quality seafood in Times Square. Maybe I'm stuck in the bad 'ol days, but the only seafood you used to find there was so-called East River Whitefish.

Sorry to check in so late in this thread, but if you have not spent that much time in NY, the Oyster Bar in Grand Central, 42nd Street and Lex., is worth checking out for oysters, amazing clam chowder, and their signature Oyster Pan Roast. Probably the most extensive selection of Oysters in the city (and we all love oysters, right) and a historic old restaurant to boot.
