There's a Woodbury Common "outlet" on Jericho TPKE, it has most of the high end retailers you can find in most upscale malls.

It is an outlet center a little north of the city .. Over 200 companies I believe ...Coach, Prada, Burberry, Armani, Polo ... etc.   Most women seem to like it.

Woodbury Commons is an upscale paradise for shoppers who want to save some cash. Just the William-Sonoma store is worth the trip, if you are into gourmet cooking. They always have a special deal on some All-Clad product, which is the best there is in cookware. I have found designer suits at the Barneys, Sax off 5th, and the Hugo Boss stores for half off the city prices. Driving from the city takes about 45 minutes. You take the GW to the Pallisades and then get on 6/17 to central valley. Very easy to follow the route. I have also noticed a lot of buses there. AND there is a motel just down the road so you can re coup some shopping expense! The Hudson Valley guys would love to see one of your caliber.

I bet there are several day trips that originate and return you to the Port Authority (W. 41st St and 8th Ave if you're not from NYC). And I've been to all the outlet malls in NJ/NY/some in PA and you can't beat Woodbury. I haven't seen Gucci outlet other than Woodbury or Secaucus, NJ (mehh). Also, their Polo Ralph Lauren outlet store is huge. Burberry there, Juicy Coture, etc, etc.
