Do make sure you have proper snow gear - especially for your feet.

If you trek thru the snow as it's coming down and while it's building up, it's like you are walking in a snow globe.
It is an exhilarating experience, for sure.

And if you'd like someone to be your guide thru the central park wonderland (as a fun platonic adventure) I'd love to make snow angels with you and buy you a cup of hot chocolate.

The weather reports say a snow storm is heading our way. I am from Seattle where we rarely get snow and when we do the city basically stops moving. I was here a few weeks ago during snow downfall (night if Santa Con I arrived which was interesting) and see that this definitely not the case here in NY. In between warming up my buns in Midtown, where would you suggest venturing out to play?

Trek through the snow. Play, roll around. That's what it's there for. The snow I mean. Won't last long either. Soon it's packed down, dirty and frozen.

...am praying for snow so that I may play in the Park.

Hugs and Kisses,
Kelly

Rockefeller center , Central Park , also a small outdoor rink downtown off west street and 14th st area and in Bryant park i have heard as well :) Have not seen Bryant park though myself . You cold take a ride on the horse carriage in central park as well :) go to the roof top of your favie roof accessible hotel perhaps with a garden in the better weather , you just maybe the only one up there :)

As our new mayor wants to get rid of them.  So if you are here take advantage.  It is a great NYC experience, and with the snow even more so.

Looking forward to checking these things out.
