I attended one in Dallas a few months ago, but it was not posted in advance on any public boards. I learned about it from a member of a UTR brothel. It was similar to the fictional rendition in Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut, at least at the outset. If we could recapture that in NYC it would be awesome.

This is a brilliant concept that we should promote and encourage more than ofen in NYC.

It's apples vs. oranges.  The Orlando and upcoming Vegas events are more costly, but the ratio of men:women is skewed towards the latter, and most of them know each other, and are comfortable playing together.  The Chicago event, with it's multi-tiered donation packages, the option to just watch (and maybe take pics?), people coming and going...not only seems certain to be a sausage fest, but may attract outside attention, especially in the 'burbs during early evening hours.  I would skip that sort of event...

There will likely be an actual EWS party in the NY area sometime next year.  THAT'S the party you want to go to.  In the meantime, if something along those lines can be arranged, even if on a smaller scale...

And they should not be held in the same context.
