Seems backpage "adds" text to an ad saying "see my TER reviews" or some such automatically to a providers ad (and apparently w.o. her knowledge) if they find a city/name match on TER.  Doesn't seem like the best practice to me, IMHO.

Heard about backpages and was perusing the escort ads.  There is another Destiny in Albuquerque NM. Ummmmmm...  K, maybe just a coincidence.  But her ad states though she goes under another name sometimes her reviews are on TER under the name Destiny......  ??!!!  Does this seem strange to anyone else?  I mean, THAT can't be a coincidence, right?  I would post a link but don't know how to copy and paste on my iPhone. There are pics. Def not me.  And diff contact info, of course....  

Anything I could/should do?

There's only one Destiny profile under New Mexico.  Appears to be yours.   Also couldn't find the BP ad you referenced.  I'm not perusing  all the ads just looking for another Destiny.

Oh god, I wouldn't expect you to, sugar. I just clicked on "Albuquerque, nm", then "adult" and typed "Destiny" in the search engine.  A girl's ad come up with some random words in the link.  Sorry, still haven't figured out how to cut and paste on this freaking phone.  I may be wrong, but perhaps someone took advantage of my brief hiatus and the similarities in our names and location?  I had heard of this girl before but was not worried, figuring it a coincidence.  Now that I see her pointing people to TER for reviews of Destiny in Albuquerque, I'm worried.  Perhaps this is just a misunderstanding and much ado about nothing?

Don't think there is another Destiny out here in Albuquerque.  Don't think there is anything you could do at this point.  Only suggestion with backpage would be in having a few additional photos.

Yes!  Thank you!  Those are not photos of me or my contact info.  Which is fine.  Just another Destiny.  But the reference to TER reviews dies make me raise an eyebrow....  Oh well.  

You're right, I doubt much could be done or if it needs much attention...  I just find it a bit frustrating and don't want anyone lead astray.  

Oh well.  I suppose I'll sit back and hope nothing bad comes of this and maybe I'm just wrong.

I had that happen to me too.  I'm glad to see that thread.  Didn't know it was happening to others. my website and contact info were posted on both cityvibe and backpages for a bit without my knowledge.  But of was my pics and contact- so I guess the websites pulled my info off the web and stickbitbon their site for advertisement?  I assume the ads expired as I haven't had many contacts mentioning them...  I am glad, am wary of backpages and don't know much about cityvibe.

As for the other destiny....  I dont know what to think.  Just hope the TER reference doesn't confuse people...
