I'm a novice to the hobby but have been reading many of the posts (here and elsewhere), the self-help guide, and explanations on some provider's websites trying to learn the process and how to protect myself from LE.  I need help with something I haven't found explained anywhere: if a provider doesn't list what her requested donations are (including on her website, if she has one), how do I find that out when I'm not supposed to ever discuss $ by phone, text, or email?

The other thing I'm trying to get a handle on is where do I find the providers who only needs help to go to a community college, instead of the big state university or--gasp--an Ivy League college? LOL  I've seen repeated posts from a guy who suggests we all band together and offer half price to try to bring rates more in line with this economy, but it seems to me providers must have a good idea of what the market will bear.  So, are these two questions related?  If a provider isn't advertising donations anywhere, does that mean she is open to negotiation below the "market" rate?  And if so, as a corollary to question 1, how would I negotiate without violating protocol?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

1) Check her TER reviews.  They will always have a price.  As a newbie you should not be seeing unreviewed gals anyway. Whatever you do, don't ask her directly.  She will fear you're LE and break off all contact.  If you have VIP you can also PM the last reviewer to see her to check if her rate is the same as posted  in the review.  Reviews on other sites don't always have prices but you can usually PM guys who have reviewed her or post a question on a local board and someone will let you know.
2) I don't really follow your other question and the whole thing about what college she goes to.  Girls set their rates in a varierty of ways.  Their rationale is none of our business.  You either pay the rate or don't see her.  Negotiating a rate is a no-no.  The only time it's appropriate to bring up her rate, IMO, is if you've already seen her and she contacts you again when she's coming back to town to see if you're interested.  At that point you could reply, "I'm sorry, but my budget won't permit seeing you right now."  If she replies that she's willing to see you at a discounted rate, that's OK.

agree with inicky on both counts.

if you see a provider that you wanna see on say EROS , and she doesnt list her rate , feel free to ask her, I've NEVER had a gal not tell me . Afterall how much money would you be expected to bring to the date?

Also just research. There are providers in every price range. Times have changed, oh yes they have so some men are looking for cheaper rates. That's totally understandable.  The going hourly rate seems to be 300-400 and then there are plenty that are at 250 an hour and then there are the girls that are less. Point is you need to do your research, and choose what is best for you.

Dont just jump in if you have found a too good to be true rate.  Make sure she has good reviews!
