If you tried calling a provider and she never picked up the phone. Then the message said she would text you back. Would that be a bit suspicious ? I think it's a bit tacky. To me it feels like a pimp texting you and not even her.

Maybe worst.

I am hugely into responding promptly and email and texting works great for me. I am always doing something and with people that it is not always convenient for me to speak on the phone and handle such delicate details as references and appointment making. Discretion is hugely important to me and many people that are close to me do NOT know who or what Sidney Starr is. I would like to keep it that way. If I am with family, friends or in class or at dinner, a movie I just cannot talk on the phone. But if someone is trying to contact me I want to respond as quickly as possible. I am reviewed enough that people know I am legitimate, respectable and an independent.

Most people are fine with this. Mny of my clients WANT me texting THEM for the same reasons. Being in work, around coworkers or family or friends. If someone really detests texting and does NOT want to email me then they just let me know and I will make the time to sneak away. I'll take a dog for a walk, take the trash out ect. ;-) I believe we should have respect for each other.

I remember when we spoke and you had to divide the time away from family over my
Christmas Tree trimming party . I still have the ornament I got in your favor. Maybe
sometime you can attend one of the events the group would be thrilled to give you your
tree ornament ;)

Sometimes we are in an environment that is not proper for the conversation we are about to have and texting is the only discrete way to handle the call.

I was to uncomfortable to go through with text setup. When I order food I don't text my order. That may cost me 20 bux plus tip. So when I order something 200 dollars or more. At the very lest when I use your number I expect the option to call. Unless it's an email setup and eventually, I expect a voice.

The text ONLY format is something I can't subscribe to.

I don't do text only. I communicate in all ways possible. Even messenger pigeons. ;-) There is so much going on in people's lives that who know what's going on. I stand by that if you really hate it just tell the lady that you must talk on the phone at least once.  99 percent of my clientele prefer emails or texting.
