Good Afternoon
I wanted to see a provider and she requested a deposit which is fine with me.
to make a long story short after the provider kept on canceling our meeting and sometimes she canceled when I was on the way already.
on the Last scheduled meeting she canceled me after confirming and I was on the way she sent me an email sorry I have to cancel and only returned a third of my deposit.
since then she ignored all my emails.
should I just let it go ?

I would try one more time then just let it go.  I hard way of dealing with it is to tell her you'll post her name on TER so others will avoid.  Speaking of this can you let me know whom this is so I can avoid.  You can PM me if you like.

It happened to me. I posted a review and a post to warn others. 'What she did is unforgivable. I have a general rule against deposits. I have made exceptions twice for two ladies with sterling reputations and who were traveling from far away. Did not regret either instance.

agree with what was said- I avoid deposits - rare occasion if provider has good reputation-  also depends on what you are willing to risk-  I gave a 100 deposit in feb to someone that was supposed to visit but cancelled trip to NY b/c covid issues in March-  hopefully she will reschedule-  I haven't asked for a refund

If the provider has positive reviews that show she is honest and reliable I won't hesitate to send a deposit.  There also have to be multiple reviews from different reviewers.  If there are no reviews, or negative reviews, they don't get a deposit.  If that is a deal breaker so be it.  There are many other providers out there.

At this point I would let it go and write a review on here.  Let the others know you got ripped off.
