Any good areas and Hotels to stay in in NNJ?!

In NNJ, the closer to NYC you stay the better IMHO. Hoboken/Jersey city/ basically any city on the other side of the Hudson is nice.
Most traveling girls I noticed that, they stay in the Meadowlands, Raritan Center, Edison. Most girls won't stay anywhere south of Edison and I sort of understand why. The Hilton in New Brunswick is very nice, and its right off exit 9 of the NJ turnpike. The hotels around Newark airport are also convenient and nice, and the best part is that they are 3+ stars.
