If visiting New Jersey what cities are good to tour?

Is Parsippany a good option?

Atlantic City, NJ is great area. We will be having a ton of events that go on here.  Both on the Boardwalk, Casinos & Off the Boardwalk. June 26, 2024 there's a Mardi Gras Concert going at the Kennedy Plaza area of the Boardwalk by Boardwalk Hall.
