If your question is there some medication that can "boost" his energy and help him clear his head than the answer is NO~~~~ Taking any additional stimulants along with the cocaine could induce, grand mal seizures, a stroke or heart-attack. .

Also, FYI .....Most long term cocaine abuser's practice some form of "poly-pharmacy" - they use other drugs and or alcohol along with the cocaine.

Your friend needs a medically supervised detox program otherwise I would plan on attending a funeral in the near future.....

He is using cocaine every day for the past 30+ years.
First of all i think he is lucky to be alive for the past 29 years.
Seems to me the only possible hope for him is professional rehab/detox.

There are no alternative drugs such as methadone for addiction to blow that I know of.  He could try NA if he is really dedicated, but it sounds like that would be real struggle.  

Written by someone who kicked weed and cigarette habits long ago.  I never was as enamored with ice, but I saw several friends destroyed or die because of it, and had a serious relationship killed by it as well.
