Okay Mongers here is the real deal about NJ Exxxotica.  

This has been my experience over the 3 years that I have gone.  
I have tried all aspects of it, normal, VIP and gone to many after parties.  

The first year was great, but every year after has gotten worse and worse. It can defiantly be an experience if you have never gone before, but I doubt you will return the next year.  

Most actress are cold bitches, who let you down. Of course we all understand they are working, but you expect them to at least be playful and fun if you waiting a 20-40 min line to see them for 20 seconds and get a photo. I've meet the promoter and he is a greedy rude dick. I have talked to a few of the show girls about stars that were advertised and I could not find at the show. The girls told me that even if a PS girl cancels with the expo, the promoter purposely DOESN'T remove their name and pic from the web site. So that he can still generate more ticket sales. To me that is unethical and false advertising. This can also ruin your trip if you are mainly going to see one specific starlet. So here's the heads up.  

As for the VIP pass, is a total waste of time and cash. As for the "after parties", you pay a premium to enter these after party clubs where you hope to get some brief one on one time with a PS and all you get is 98% sad, mad, and weird males. If you are lucky,.. far across the club in a roped off section, you may get a glimpse of a few female porn stars mingling with there boyfriends, male porn stars and the promoter and his friends. You get to pay a cover, drink expensive drinks and watch them totally ignore you, all while you get super blue balls. Sounds like a "good time" right? The whole thing is a big cock tease and waste of time and $.

I've never gone-  always considered just looking around-  but never had the chance-  I take it you are most likely right-  I always got a kick out of the "after parties" ads-  I think some people are deluded into thinking they are going to actually hang out with pornstars-  but I doubt paying 50 or 70 bucks or whatever it is gets you much other than an invite to an overpriced party with little interaction-

This will be my third exxxotica. My first was in Chicago. I had an incredible time, developed friendships with some of my fans. Some of them I still talk to frequently. They hung out with me after hours, had meals with me, escorted me out when I would take smoke breaks to "keep me safe". I didn't attend after parties because I don't drink and don't enjoy partying, but I did hang out with my fans quite a bit. Chicago was awesome!
In Dallas the event really sucked. There were protesters beating girls up and shooting paintball guns. The models weren't allowed to be outside without security. The crowd of attendees was small and of those who were there, not a lot of people wanted to spend money. We pay for our own flights and hotels and have other expences involved in attending the event. Some major stars get paid to be there, but most do not get paid to attend. We are there to make money. That is why we charge for autographs, and to get pics with us. Some people get really rude when you tell them they have to pay to get your autograph or get pics with you. Dallas was a total bust.  
If you approach the girl while there is a line of people, then you will most likely only be able to engage her while you are paying her. If there are people waiting in line to spend money, then she probably isnt going to keep them waiting to make small talk with a stranger. Try coming when the event first opens. From my experience with the first two conventions, it usually doesn't start getting busy till about an hour into the event.

Thank you Brook for giving us insight into your world and how it works.  
You sound like you have the right attitude and you seem like you would be a fun person to hangout with.  

I will tell you most girl/ladies at the expo don't share your good sprit.  
I can't speak for all here guys. But I totally understand it is work for you and you are there to make money. Most of my issues are with the promoter of this event and the way he does business. Also over the years I've talked to many girls and they have told me some not so pleasant things about him and the way he treat them as artists / performers. So perhaps that is why many girls are in a bad mood some times.  

But my other issues like the after parties, the VIP and the girls that aren't there to have fun.  

I can tell you I personally make a good living as a young professional in the city, and I don't have a problem paying for autographs or pics, esp when its only $5-25 per/. Really my pleasure to pay if its a actress that I'm into.  

My issues is when I do wait in line and  pay and they rush me in and out like a assembly line, I've been there early and late both times, for me there seems to be very little difference. 9 out of 10 seem to have no time to be nice,.. even for 10 secs . The NJ expo can be very crowded as I'm sure you will experience this weekend. The first expo about 7 or 8 years back was great for me, I really great time and I don't mind throwing down some cash to party have a "Great time" My issue is every year I have gone in NJ since has never even come close. No one wanted to have fun or do a private party. Or even just be down to hang out and chill. I'm willing to will buy, eat, drink but I will tell you 100%, of the time I was turned down for Private parties, hanging out at the hotel that you all mostly stay at near the Expo. You sound like a fun girl, who's down to party but in my opinion can tell you most are not like you.  

I have been on TER and these escort sites for some time now and I can research which Adult Stars do private entertaining or have sites that offer that "meet and greet service". And what frustrates me also is that even the ones I see have met with gents on TER or host sites, when I bring it up or approach them at the expo. These providers act like its something they don't ever do, and I get the no go.  I hope I'm not coming off as hostel, I'm just a little confused and bummed out. When on that weekend I'm down to party and fun, and all are not interested. What's up with that.  

Maybe you or someone in the biz can PM me with some advice. Perhaps I am using the wrong lingo or there is a different protocol at these events that I don't understand. I remain open minded. So please I'm open to any and all advice. Thanks again for your replies and input. It's most appreciated.

Ok ok ok .. I've never been too Exotic expos and still may won't to go in the future.  As you can tell by my  profile been doing this for quite some time . I can tell you this big guy , if I was waiting in line to get a pic or autograph than that is that . Small talk if any to say thanks and admired you from a far . I've been to clubs where a famous PS has been and talked to here knowing that I have booked her for later that night . I won't say anything to her in public cause its not Cool !!! She opened the door and said didn't I see you at the club ? It made my experience with her that much more enjoyable cause she appreciated it . To this day when she is in town the PS texts me or email me too say she will be in town . She told me I am always welcome to have dinner and drinks off the clock . So be cool about it never ask in public.  You know how many guys try that shit ? Be different.
