Cash App payment in advance

Why do some escorts require a Cash App payment in advance before they come see you?  Is this a rip off?  I don't feel comfortable with paying someone before I get the service.  Has anyone done this before?  How did it work out?

I have not done this and will not do it and if we all dont do it then they will stop asking as soon as anyone gives in to this bullshit it will only get worse.  Some girls are honest but many are not so if you do it you are a fucking fool!!!!

I have done it for extended outcalls or FMTY's and the like. But... only if the amount is small (like 10%) and I go into it knowing there is a chance I might never see it again. Don't gamble with money you can't afford to lose.

Yes, I have lost a small deposit here and there. I have also had one I thought was lost that was returned manyfold in service.

I had paid a FMTY deposit just before Covid lockdowns hit... so no, we could not meet as planned. Am I worried? No. I am quite sure the meeting will occur as soon as things calm down, or if they don't, it was gambling money anyway.

Never, never, never pay a deposit for a short incall, or to an unknown (or little known) provider.

I do Cash App Payments, but I do not require any Client to pay until the Client gets to my place and we are standing face to face.

From a clients standpoint I TOTALLY believe you REALLY have to be careful with this tyoe of thing. U  have to be diligent with WHO and WHY you send a deposit. Do your homework.
Because sadly there ARE some greedy fks that want to make the money an escort makes, but DONT want to do the dirty work. LoL  And these b*tches ruin it for the rest of us honest ones.

Personally, the only time I ASK for any type of PrePayment is if I am traveling OR sometimes for multi hour dates.
1. When PreBookong appts for a trip -
If a gentleman doesn't have anyone to vouch for him during screening AKA references (a newbie or someone who has been out of the loop for a few years)  Then I would ask for a $50 deposit.

2. If it is a multi hour date and I am to travel for it/pay for the room... I would also ask for a $50 deposit.

In all honesty,  I have had more guys ASK if they can prepay via Venmo/CashApp than I have asked to do it.
BUT I have also been in the industry for a decade and ppl KNOW I'm not a flake or scammer by this point. With 1 Google search u can find PAGES of stuff on a long standing provider.  Soooooo I guess it's a little different than just sending someone u haven't really heard of  $$.

Us girls DO get screwed over a lot more often than you think.  Blame the scummy douches that came out of the woodwork SOON as SESTA was passed.  The "bp refugees" as we fondly nicknamed them,lol......they are the REASON so  many providers started taking deposits in the 1st place.

But......THEN the scammer girls caught on and started  to steal from guys just be be lazy b*tches.    I hate them btw.

If you do not feel comfortable don't do it. I do have some guys that will want to pay in advance and I am of course fine with it but if someone is paying venmo or cashapp I usually just have them do it when we first meet. if someone I have never met sets up an appointment and cancelled at last minute I will tell them next time they will need to pay upfront.
