Convenient/good areas?

Hey Jersey Boys/Girls!  
I am planning on finally making my way to NJ after being on a year long vacation. Never visiting before, I am clueless as to where to go? What is convenient for men? Safe for me? Any input would be helpful and much appreciated!

Not sure about NNJ or CNJ, but Cherry Hill, NJ is safe and convenient for a lot of people

Secaucus/The Meadowlands has some nice hotels and your'e only a ten minute drive to NYC.

I've done just fine around CNJ and NNJ but Cherry Hill in SNJ is good too.-e-

any recomendations for edison/ meadowlands
