this they call Gull Island  well you can see why

this is in an island in Bar Harbor  we went on a harbor nature cruise  I recommend it.
Its a 2 hr boat ride and is narrated by a local much like the duck tours here are
loaded with fun facts about the area ppl living there famous and historic as well as  
how the islands were formed by glaciers great ride  
we saw bald eagles minke whales porpoises and many other wild life

I am looking forward to exploring more of Maine this summer

Cherryfield Maine is the Blueberry capital of the world its a tiny lil town with a big crop
It also is the largest one single crop growing space in the country even bigger than corn.  
As far as you can see all the way...almost to the mountains here is blueberry fields
there are dirt roads that go on for miles all through this land and Yes its very easy to get lost
There is no cell reception so good luck calling for help
Trust me!
Blueberry raking season starts on Monday this is where the blueberrys you buy in the grocery store come from.

I recommend the brewery tour...2 thumbs up
