I've been "poking around" TER for a while now, but have just been too hesitant to pull the trigger on seeing a provider. I'm old enough to know better (well over 50) and am looking for a provider who's just plain nice and over 40.  

Saw an ad for someone I think is ideal for me, but she's listed in NH Backpage only with no mention of refs. I know my first instincts are usually correct, so I should probably keep looking. Just wanted to know if anyone in has had experience with such a provider and if my fears are well-founded.
