and I didn't even know it existed until today :-)

Great post Lass sometimes people do feel awkward and they shouldn't

that clip should be seen by every American. I can't begin to tell you how important it is to make that gesture to these super guys and gals coming home, some to only return a few months later.  I will admit there was  apoint inthat clip that made me emotional because i know the feeling inside many guys that never recieved a welcome or a thanks, and to see this happening now I think its Super and nobody should ever hesitate, It means so much to these soldiers.  The mental anquish many go through overseas in a combat arena is and never will be known by the common American.  These soldiers live on egg shells every day not knowing if they will be a statistic on the evening news but what is even more on thier minds is weather they will loss a limb thier face or being permanentl maimed which many of them would rather have died.  The returning soldiers simply need to know we think of them, we thank them, and should they simply need someone to listen too we would love to hear them.  Good work Erin

With my recent travels, I have seen this happen at various airports but didn't really know what it meant.  Thanks for the post, Erin...I will be sure to spread the love this way myself now!
