Ted Kennedy, committed national health coverage activist, torpedoed Nixon's national health care and catastrophic coverage proposals on Dem partisan basis, to lose it not only for America but especially for Nixon, but now the rest of us are expected to pay for it, er, win it, why? For Ted.

Ted Kennedy, environmentalist, had done all he could to kill the Cape Wind project. Worse, he couldn't even stand up and oppose it personally; he had to engage his "mastery of Senatorial procedure" to get his Senate cronies on both side of the aisle to block for him.
Ted Kennedy, chickendove, had to have daddy pull strings to not only shorten his Army enlistment to two years from four after he was kicked out of Harvard, but also get himself stationed in Paris on a diplomatic attache posting and avoid serving in Korea.
Ted K's done so much for Mass. over the past ten, twenty, thirty years, Mass has hemorrhaged business and citizens at such a rate that we're not only losing tax base and per capita worth but yet another congressional rep after the 2010 census, after losing one in 1970, 1980, and again in 1990. Those of you who supported Ted K's Senate appointment/election/appointment succession shenanigans on the basis of MA "deserving full representation" chew on that for a few minutes.
Lastly, let's remember Ted K. freely indulged the hobby expecting not to be burdened with ah, donations. Let alone manners, table or otherwise.
