With what is going on in Southern Maine I have a question for everyone ... ladies and guys.
Ladies, when you ask for information and get calls and texts... what do you do with numbers and information of your clients. You need enough information to keep yourselves safe but the guys don't want what is going to happen to those who were video taped in Maine (yes I understand video taping is an extreme case).
So for everyone... Trust has got to be a major concern.... Trust that the guys will treat the ladies with respect and the ladies won't pass information that the guys don't want out.
I only treat myself once a year to this hobby and have only had one bad experience...a positive reviewed lady and her boyfriend robbed me and roughed me up abit. So this trial and the fall out from it has me nervous and wondering where the trust begins and ends between the lady and the client.
.....I have no interest in holding onto a gents info for more than screening purposes. Once i've gotten that out of the way and we've seen each other his info is gone unless he specifically asks/gives okay for me to hold onto to something (his email or number etc). No interest in messing up anyone's lives let alone videotaping (that's just crazy). I hope this doesn't keep the guys in Maine from coming out and can't imagine what many must be thinking. I also hope no one uses that situation with the Zumba instructor as a reason to be difficult or evasive about being screened either. Sucks.
It is such a sad state of affairs with what is happening in Maine. The fallout will be awful and the finger pointing and shaming has already begun. No one should ever have to endure this, not provider or client. Smart gals really don't save your information they know who you are and are not casting a wide net to catch as many fish as possible. They will dump your info and get rid of it. They only should know who you are, email etc from repeat communications. Having too much info out there is never a good sign of discretion. Which means they surely can't protect your discretion either.
No one needs public shaming, just be extra cautious and perform due diligence when choosing a lady. There are many fine ladies here that are safe. Find out who is reference friendly and develop a rapport with them.
It's sad and unfortunate that some ladies would jeopardize our safety as a community, however a good lot of us won't!

This way when I answer John's email Iam all set with info! I have nothing but these basic emails that I delete.
Quick simple and I do not get any info that anyone can use against anyone LOL! We trade phone numbers all we are is a possible hook up nothing more!
So i assume that this lady wasn't using TER, P411, Date Check? Were any of the providers on here even aware of her before she popped into the news. So i want to play devils advocate here for a minute. If she had been on these sites how would it have helped the clients here? Seems like if she earned an estimated $150,000 in a year and saw at least 150 clients then she would have had plenty of good references. Seems like people were having a good experience and coming back for more. This lady got caught because she used the same in call location for too long. Of course there is the craziness of the video and records she kept. Personally I have always preferred travel providers. In and out and not back for months so LE would have no idea she is around.
I am single and retired , so I have no issues with wife/gf or a job . When I hobby I only do so in Canada ( Toronto or NF) or London on business when I worked . I have never been asked for info in those locations . I never would give out information . When I travel in the U S I do my research and hit a strip club for extras or take out. IMHO if you give out info assume it will be made public . In MOST cases it won't but consider what will happen to you if it does . It is a pure risk reward propositon.
