I agree.  Definitely agree.  Say you are at LEAST 30, maybe even a bit older.  It's hard to explain why.

If you see a legitimate lady, she's going to find out your age during screening. Then you just failed the screening because you made something up and she's going to wonder what else you are lying about. Which will lead you down a path of seeing ladies who don't screen and then you are down in the bait/switch/assault/robbery by her "friend" or LE sting land.  

So, get Vip, read reviews, reach out and contact some safe (meaning those with many many positive reviews), newbie friendly ladies. Some might not see you because of age, but others will.

For whatever her reasons may be, she prefers some age minimum, let's say 30. You lie, you show up, she is suspicious of your appearance or demeanor ... you have a shitty time because YOU have baited her with a lie and shown up as the switch.

If you are more honest, you can explain your situation in e-mails or phone (whatever she prefers) and if you come across as a well behaved, mature-acting young(er) man, that may be far more important to her than the birthdate on your DL.  

Edit: From your first post, it wasn't clear if you were M or F trying to break in! The "Lie about your age" reply could have meant to make yourself an OLDER man or a YOUNGER woman!

and open with her.  Give enough information so that she can determine that you are who you say you are, and are safe to see.  Reputable providers appreciate honesty and will maintain your confidentiality.  They will feel much better about a well written introduction as opposed to a one-liner, and if you have an internet presence, that helps, as well.

Don't do what the OP suggested and lie about your age...that will absolutely get you started out on the wrong foot!  Write a few reviews here on TER when you do see the ladies.  As you have some good experiences, you will have ladies who will be more than happy to be a reference for you, and at that time you will be able to get in with perhaps a bit less information.  There are also a few boards out there that provide employment verification.  Join one of these and begin to establish a reputation there.

and read back several pages. There is a tremendous amount of advice for guys just starting out, as well as for those who are younger. You are far from the only younger Newbie to find his way to the site.

My advice:

Get VIP here on TER if you have not already done so. You MUST be able to read reviews completely, and being able to PM others is a great help.

Get verified by a service like P411 or Date-Check. RS2K is big in the Chicago area as well. The idea of a verification site is that it is easier to give personal information out once to a site that many ladies rely upon to help verify that you are safe. It will also serve as a way to simplify reference checks with future dates.

VIP and verification site memberships are not free... but the investment is well, well worth it. I'd say essential!

Look here on the TER ad boards, on the verification site, etc... for ladies who advertise "Newbie Friendly" and for those who are OK with younger guys. They ARE there. Read their reviews, websites and everything else you can find, and choose who to reach out to first. With VIP you can PM reviewers to ask for advice, although be prepared as many can be reluctant to reply to Newbies with no board history or cred.

When you do reach out, remember that a well-written introduction and clear request are very, very important. Complete sentences and good grammar - not text-speak! No mention of money (you should already know her rates and expect to pay them) or sex/sex acts - maturity, not vulgarity! Make a specific request to meet, specify when and for how long, where, incall or outcall, etc.. Be prepared for her to ask for some additional information - you will need to decide what you are comfortable sharing, but she is free to decline if you choose not to share what she asks. Don't get angry or discouraged if the first one or two contacts don't work out - that happens, and is NOT worthy of a complaint or rant on the boards. Just move on, and keep trying until you find a match. It WILL happen, and you will have your first reference -and life in the hobby will get progressively easier.

As for some advice others have given about lying about your age... HELL NO!  

Do things right, put your best foot forward, and over time you will do well.

you might get away with being vague & rounding up a little.  However, most gals who have age minimums do so because they are uncomfortable with guys too near their own age OR that younger guys sometimes get confused that Pay4Play is NOT Match . com.   If you have a mature attitude you might get an exception.  We do NOT love them.  We Love what they do.  With many gals, Use of the "L" word will get you cut off.  It's easy to let our emotions run away with us...  it IS the post-coitus hormonal surge that was so useful to pre-historic survival of the species.    

Arrive on time.  Be clean.  Be Respectful.  Have the correct donation ready & place it as directed.  Follow her rules, all of them.  (If you can't follow rules for how to arrive or how to make the donation, why should she think you'll follow other rules necessary for her safety?)  Leave when you are supposed to.  Some guys like to do a very brief thank you message after the event...  but that's it.   No other contact unless you book a new appointment.  Do not book too many appointments with her without seeing others.  (That's a sign of guys getting too attached.)
