Hello fellows, I'm curious to know if you take a hobby break during this time of year, or not. Or do you sneak in a little secret gift to yourself since this time of year can be stressful? I know I get overwhelmed with all the commercializing of holidays, & the shopping buzz. But I adore all the holiday lights, wreathes on doors, pine and holly vines. It seems like being in the holiday energy of New England would leave no energy left to hobby. But I thought id enquire and learn how men usually think during the holidays.

to keep secrets.  I think it's a little more difficult because of other demands on time but I do if the opportunity presents itself.

Wondering if guys are stuck in a hotel for business reasons on Christmas Eve and should I offer my slurpie services on CChristmas eve or not.

The shopping trip;s timeouts often require the provider of holiday cheer to have an incall location.

If I can afford to, I love to play during the holidays.  Also, my and your birthdays!  And Valentine's Day!

Holidays are a little different because there tends to be more stuff to do and more family around, and it feel like less time is available, too. So I guess generally my hobbying takes a bit of a break during the holiday season although that is NOT a hard and fast rule.  If I can get out, I will but sometimes things like sleet and snow complicate matters way more than rain can...  If I was to generalize I would say that winter is my slow season although it is a darn good time to snuggle!
