So still trying to sift the fake ads from the real ones... and wondering if people would consider an ad that tineye finds 0 photo matches on.. probably a real ad or just as fake as any other might be?

Curious.. the other thing I'm wondering is if photos of the gal holding the phone taking a photo via the mirror are more of a better bet than those taken without evidence of the camera.  As in, grabbed elsewhere online in the latter case probably.

Thoughts on what someone looks for to figure out real or fake?!

..... pic(s) with 0 hits COULD still be fake.....google reverse image search is supposed to be a good "spot the fake" tool also. If that still doesn't work looking for her review history and other internet presence ie. other/older ads and see which pics she's used before and how they compare could help.

Your only guarantee is a solid lady with verifiable reviews from trusted, well known reviewers with a solid review history.

There are many tricks used these days to try and bypass the so called fake photo spotter sites. Unfortunately it hurts you the consumer in the end.

If I show up I will say sorry if you can't post real pic's I can't trust you and turn around and leave.  If we all did that we could send a message.  I don't care what she looks like, how far I drove.  I have found fake pic's most always equal poor service, up selling, rushed service etc.  Just my .02 cents

Yeah, I have even brought the ad with me and put it in their face about the same way.. leaving rather than staying and taking a chance even if the alternate is cute.  And like others in this post have said, well reviewed is your best bet... but new ladies have to get that first review somehow and I can imagine that's tough too.  Honesty should be the best policy, and walking away from a proven fake certainly seems like an approach, and mention it in a review for others to be aware as well perhaps!

Reviews are the end all be all for piece of mind and protection from scams/robberies.

Mirror photos don't prove anything. Half of them could have been grabbed off Facebook. (unless nude, and THOSE can be scavenged off Photobucket and similar sites)

I have given up on TinEye altogether, and use Google reverse image search exclusively now. The same thing that makes people worry about Google slurping up the internet and invading our lives also makes them the best resource. I have found photo matches on Google where TinEye turned up zero.

I also search telephone numbers, looking for previous ads, etc. TER reviews will pop on a Google search of a phone number if it matches a provider.  If the same number and photos are posted in Chicago and Boston the same day, well you can figure that out.

I have emailed a provider, calling her out for using fake pics, and received a scathing response going on about "no one uses real pictures, blah blah blah"  Bullshit. I have also see an ad admit that the pictures are "representative", for privacy reasons. (Even saw that on one providers personal website, which I thought was unusual) At least they were up front about it. In that case (or any where I had doubts) I would try asking if they could send you a fresh, recent pic.  With her fully clothed, and with no connection to the ad, it's just a photo, nothing incriminating.  If they won't, look else where and tell them why.

And absolutely do not reward a dishonest provider by thinking with the little head because she was "cute enough, but not the girl in the pictures"  No match=No cash, just like Mainefun said. Not trustworthy is a sign of worse things to come. Real providers deserve our money and admiration, liars do not.

Check for LamontCranstons occasional reports, I think they are in Boston Regional Discussions, or Ads, I can't remember which.
