Well, as a "New England" lady...
Boston's a pretty big city. Hartford less so, Providence less than that. However, for those of us outside of those metro areas, giving our location is a bit of a risk factor. For example, when I post that I am in VT, as I am at the very present moment, it's quite possible that anyone who saw my site and photos would be able to pick me out on the street (have you seen this place? Have you seen me?). There was actually a post about this very thing recently on the Boston board, you may want to cruise over there.
And of course I can not speak for all ladies, but for me, an hour or so roadtrip to pick up a sizeable sum and some fun is perfectly reasonable, doable, and common. So, from my usual location on any given day I'm happy to accept inquiries from MA, VT, CT, or NY (if that gives you an idea of where I am). So declaring one specific town and expecting there to be an adequate audience in these single, sometimes rural locations is unnecessarily alienating at best and identifying at worst. I do post locations in my ads, but that's generally just to give gentlemen a sense of my travel range and tendencies, or because I have preexisting plans in the area.
There are single states bigger than this entire region. Unless you're in Northern Maine and trying to book a Fairfield County girl for a half hour quickie on 4 hours' notice, I'd say it's worth the ask.
Or just do what everyone else is doing these days and post yet another ISO..
General location and dates have to be in the weekly ad or admin will pull it. Does this always happen? I don't know, I only pay attention to my own ads.
Now, I did just quickly peruse the NE ads board and it appears locations and dates are in the subject lines. So....
As stated, New England is a large territory...I mostly provide incall and I might be 3 or 4 states in a 7 day period, kind of hard to capture in one subject line. I will usually reply to my original post with additional information and additional locations, I think gentlemen largely ignore these even though the locations are in the subject lin
I never would have imagined there were ladies on this board who are willing to drive from one end of New England to the other for an appointment. So that is a surprise to me.
I also didn't know that the guidelines required a location in the subject. I'm not going to single anyone out, but there are several ads right now on this board that don't have the location in their subject line. It seems like 1 out of every 10 ads doesn't have a location. Clicking thru on one, I couldn't even tell where the lady is located after looking at her review page and looking thru to look at her website.
There are times where I have plenty of time and would look at the ads without locations but generally, speaking, I know the locations where I'm going to be over the new few weeks, and most of the time, I come in and skim to see if there is anyone in one of those cities.
