Legeis,
I am not trying to be a dick I really do not understand. What sketched you out about the place? If it was a known bad neighborhood then you should have declined once you knew where it was. Was it a good neighborhood and the house was fine until you got in? Then my advise would be do not put the money down until you are comfortable. But without knowing what it was that bothered you I can not give you advise. My best solution would be spend the 5 and see Quinn from what I have read and from email exchanges with her I'm sure she is an amazing companion. Best of all she stays at the same great Hotels I stay at when I stay in Town.I don't see how your note helped me at all. My hope was to receive meaningful advice from other experienced hobbiest on how to handle this. Seems my only option was to just leave after entering the apt. Not sure that's reasonable once making the connection, getting there, 2 calls, putting the envelope down in the main room, etc. But...lesson learned. Not sure what to do next time, but a lesson learned none the less.
So... I either need to figure out a way to determine in advance the quality level of an incall location or just stop doing them altogether. Unfortunately I'm leaning towards the latter. Which, sadly, may end up limiting my hobbying... And no one wants that!
Recently I experienced an incall and while the provider was "ok" the location/environment was not. Yes, I asked in advance if the location was a hotel or residence. No one provides a physical address until an hour before the appt, so I can't really google the area before booking the meeting. And no one will ever tell you "I'm nice but the place is gross".
I should have gone to a known provider, but the lure of "new" drew me in. I'm sure you all understand...
How can I find out the level of quality before I spend my big money and waste a big load, so to speak?
Any help is appreciated.

I typically see women for incall between 250-400 an hour and when I do I find they always use, at the least, a moderate level quality hotel that anyone would feel comfortable in and would be a place I'd choose to stay on my own.
There have been a couple of women I decided to see that had excellent reviews and attractive but only charged 200 a hour. I found (from my own experience) that the quality of hotel I met them as was undesirable and not a place I would normally stay if I had a choice.
You didn't mention the rate of the woman you saw. Was she under 200 an hour?
When it comes down to it I don't care so much about where I meet someone but most importantly that we click and genuinely enjoy our time together.
Just my .02
....somewhere fairly nice. Bidding on Priceline is pretty great most of the time .... often getting 3 star (or better) for 2 star money.
Quote from Will Rogers: "If some one offers you their two cents worth; They are usually not over spending" However, I like you comment.
I'm usually in the $350 and up range so I've not been disappointed so far.
I always try to mention the incall conditions in my reviews. Safe, neat, and clean is all we're looking for. I think you will see the conditions in most reviews.
I'm always in the 300-400 range also. The encounter that led to this post was 300, and the reviews mentioned a nice location. This was not a nice location (based on only my standards...which are all that matter to me). Reviews aren't always valid.
I need to find a way to get clarification on the incall location somehow, in advance, and it am not sure how to do it.
First of all, you did not say it was an apartment or hotel, but you are leading people thinking it is a hotel. You did say to a provider whether it is a resident or hotel and you did not say either one. You did say the provider was okay, but the building was not. It could be a hotel or residence. If it was a residence, then you really can't say much, except you could of see where it was and make a choice there to see if you want to see her or not and you did see her, even though you did not like the place.
In order to make things clear, just ask the provider of where her incall along with the address is. The best way I can tell you, if you have a phone with the internet on it, then you can google it. Or offer to pay extra for the hotel or have an outcall instead.
I would rather stay in a clean, nice hotel and also to make sure it is safe and discreet and comfortable. Now it is summer time, rates are higher at most hotels, but you can get a good deal like priceline, expedia, etc.
Missy
or else you'll walk away when you get there.
The only other avenue I can think of is to get your own hotel and get an outcall gal.
I've had someone tell me "I don't like coming to outdoor or dumpy hotels (under 2.5 star) and definitely no motels" which is just fine with me. I told him "me neither lol".
I figure a motel and drive up cabinettes are out for you..(me too!).car dates are out unless it is a $200,000.00 hooker on wheels.... ( I myself have visions of playing my way cross country in a big ole' cruiser)
If you were to describe what you are looking for in location, to a provider you are thinking of seeing (after you have been proper;y screened
- What would that place look like?
-What is your idea of the perfect incall?
I might get some good ideas from you! (for real!!)

Asking over the phone about the level of the incall is good: if hotel how many stars ect. Is it clean, descreet, ect. I think by asking single specific questions will make it hard for a lady to tell you a lie .
I hope this helps.
I hear all sorts of crazy stories about incalls even here in London
It is not easy to be an escort but it is indeed also not easy to be a hobbyist

For those of you visiting London, I recall a lovely incall location Ms. Vincente maintained. As a general response, I find a classy lady usually has a classy incall...
I was thinking about your recent experience going to a new provider with a sketchy incall location (despite its being described as nice) and I had a few thoughts for you.
-First, you can absolutely can where the provider will be hosting. While she may not know the exact hotel, it is likely she will know the general area; a quick google search or peek at booking.com or another hotel booking site should give you a broad indication of what you might expect.
-I feel like really high-end providers (highly rated among reviewers and with rates exceeding $400/hour) are likely to have nice incall locations. It is possible there could be the rare exception, but I for one fit into this category and I won't stay anywhere outside of downtown Boston nor will I book a hotel room that is fewer than 4 stars. Often I book 5 star hotels like the Ritz, the Four Seasons, the Taj, 15 Beacon (all in Boston) because I want to give my clients and outstanding and luxurious experience from the moment they walk in the door.
-Reviewers allude to the quality of the hotel room from time to time in the reviews. While each hobbyist's experience with a given provider may vary (hence the acronym YMMV) it isn't terribly often that clients describe the location at which they met said provider as being nice and the provider then staying somewhere shitty for you or other clients. If most clients describe the provider's chosen incall spots as being quite nice, you can assume that her selection for meeting you will also be nice.
-Lastly, if you are really worried about it, you can suggest a hotel and offer to pay the incremental difference between your choice and the average hotel (or the cost of another hotel you know she has stayed at). This will ensure that you are your choice of spots!
Hope this helps! To cut your lady a break, this past week hotels were a madhouse and she may have opted for a location she otherwise wouldn't have chosen because hotels that are 3+ stars were almost entirely full and therefore the asking price for a room was 2x what it normally would be.
There are some girls who work out of an apartment they rent for this express purpose (while wisely living in another apartment/house and/or town). If this is the case, you should be golden since you should know based on reviews what you are getting into prior to your arrival.
Hopefully this is an isolated incident and you will have better venues in the future. If not, you can always come up to Boston and see me. I'm happy to shell out an couple hundred extra to feel like I'm in a swanky, sexy setting

I love that Quinn if I don't find time to meet her soon I'm going to quit my job.
Am I missing something? You have to drive to location first before you pay her. It was your decision to go to the room and give her money. Once you knew the location I would have contacted her and told your concerns. Then you are only out a little time, and none of your money. Also I am very surprised that a girl charging $3-5 is staying at a place that would sketch you out. Better stick to well reviewed new to you providers.

If this was a hotel, I wouldn't have written this post. This was an apartment. A residence, which I have preferred to hotels until now.
Chauncey, agree on Quinn. No, I didn't know the location until I drove to it. The appearance of the building look ok. And the gal was "a well reviewed new to me provider". I don't see how your note helped me at all. My hope was to receive meaningful advice from other experienced hobbiest on how to handle this. trouble. That is why I stay at the higher end 3-5 star hotels. I like to feel comfortable and safe when I travel. I think my friends in the hobby would appreciate being able to relax and focus on our time together, rather than worry about a filthy or skechy invironment.

This was a residence. Not a hotel. If a hotel, this wouldn't be any issue at all as I know the areas and providers typically tell you the area... But I have had great experiences in residences (better ones than in hotels in New England), so I went for it. The disappointment led me to the board to seek advice.
So, any?
