There seems to be a new site popping up every-other day honey, many new boards/ ad sites duplicate info they can find about a provider, to jump start there data banks.
the challenge is to make sure info on these new boards is accurate and remains accurate. i also ad my websites, when i find i am listed somewhere new, without me had ever even signed up, and hope hobbyers will go to my website for info about me, where i control the content and links to review, etc.
I am suddenly getting a lot of emails from people in Rhode Island telling me that they've read my "great reviews" on Mo's Reviews and want to see me. I have no idea what that is. I went to the site and searched my name and sure enough, I came up! But the site denied me access to read my own reviews because I am not a member. Has anyone heard of this? Is TER selling my pictures and information? I'm a bit baffled by this...
I neither live nor work near Rhode Island and I have never seen any hobbyists in there. So how did I suddenly become the Rhode Island poster girl?
Mo's Reviews is a site put up by a Providence area hobbyist. The reviews and profiles are compiled from a combination of sites available to members. I think membership is free, one just needs to register. As far as I can tell, it is a sincere effort to provide an alternative source of information to this and other provider review sites. WTD
Wiley is right, and the site rates you highly on the basis of reviews posted here and on one other major mall site....caused me to look more closely at the reviews....hmmmmmm!
