Hi Charlotte!

I moved to Hartford back in September so I can give you the low-down on what I've discovered so far...

Hartford in conveniently located smack-dab in between NYC and Boston so the city makes a nice little pit stop on a NW tour.

Downtown Hartford is easy for clients to get to highway-wise being at the cross roads of I-84 and I-91.

Downtown is also the site of the combination Amtrak Train Station/Greyhound (Peter Pan) Bus Depot which makes traveling to and from NYC or Boston pretty cheap and easy. There are 2 hotels just a block away from the station(Holiday Inn and Homewood Suites)as well as a Hilton and Marriott a short distance further.

As for fun, the night clubs are next to the station. The famous blues club, 'Black Eyed Sally's' is next to the hotel. The oldest museum in America, 'Wadsworth Atheneum' is also near by. The brand new science center offers some mild, tame fun...

Well, I don't want to write your eyeballs off... I'd be happy to share what I know so feel free to email me through my website... I hope you have a prosperous tour!

Hugs,
Nina

What is there to do for fun? What is a good area to stay in? I've not ever visited, so just curious :)

Thanks :)

Lustfully,

Charlotte

as far as what to do for fun.  :o)

Visiting the Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain) House should be at the top of anyone's list, however.

I recall trying to find a decent hotel downtown one day and finding the pickings rather slim.  That was a while ago, however.

Hartford is full of Nice & hungry men me included
