Last Thursday had nothing planned so decided to take the boat out so Hubby could fish!
Hubby will not tow the boat or back it into the water, this is all my responsibility and it took me 3 tries to get his little 14 foot craft into the water. I finally get it backed in just right and he still can not move it off the trailer! I tell him put your boots on and get out there and give it a good tug! He does not want to change shoes (why did you bring your boots then) So I rip off my shoes and go out thigh high and pull the boat off the trailer! Rrrr I am a little aggravated! So we get it all together and off we go! Instantly the clouds come out and the wind picks up (I am a little wet from getting the boat off the trailer) but so what it is peaceful trolling along with a little electric motor quiet and peaceful! Suddenly my peaceful thoughts are interupted with "Aren't you cold?" Not really I reply. "well I forgot a coat and I am freezing!" Ok I reply we will head back in a while! We spent a full hour a few nibbles for him and a couple of loon sightings for me! I get the boat back to the landing and in a flash hubby has his boots on! He jumps out and steady's the boat for me! I pull up the motor, turn around, stand up and lift one foot forward towards the bow and splash I fell right over the side and fully soaked all of me! I tell you what life can be so funny! I jumped up and laughed my ass off! Poor Hubby stood dazed wondering how the hell did I manage to fall overboard LOL!
