I completely understand providers have to make a living, and everything is going up. It just seems to me, at least here in Maine, donations have gone up a lot. I’m not trying to be cheap, but it seems like donations are nearly doubling. What used to be the hour donation a year ago is the half hour donation now.  
Some of increase I understand if the provider is at a hotel. New England hotel rates are some of the highest around. Do any of the guys on here agree about the donations or am I just being unrealistic?

rates were static for a long time before the recent increases, and gals are just making up for the lost time.

 
In my business, we are seeing this with commodity prices that were static for around ten years, but now are soaring.

 
Things generally even out but only over decades.
