"Stephanie Styles" who lists herself as being in Stamford, is a scammer looking to collect cc info by getting you to sign into a "webcam" session. Absolutely avoid

Lots of cam girls and providers with private pictures ask for credit cards or at least payment.

Not suggesting she is or is not a scammer, but your post does not give me enough information.

I found this provider very suspicious because she replied to me three times with the exact same "canned" message asking me to pay to visit her webcam site. The site is one of those places where they make you buy a self-renewing subscription. I told her I wasn't comfortable with it, but would verify myself in any other reasonable way. Her response to this was: "Retard".

I've been cheated by a webcam scam exactly like this in the past. Still, if the readers of this forum think I am overreacting then I will gladly retract my comment. Let me know what you think.

She is not a scammer, I have seen her numerous times in the past couple of years, she is probably one if the best providers in CT.

Apparently this girl provides different services for different interests.

It's not unusual for scammers to pretend to be a legit provider or to confuse the client into thinking they are a certain legit provider.

The OP still hasn't given an actual link, so where is the warning except speculation and suspicion pointing to a well known lady.  He gave no information except to jump on a response from someone who questioned the only information provided.

I think the OP should provide an exact link or this entire thread should be deleted.  Even if posted in ignorance it should be considered slanderous by TER guidelines.

This thread shows how the board is supposed to work.  If someone posts something that is wrong, he gets corrected.  If a provider is falsely accused, she gets cleared by friends.

If someone deliberately posts false information, readers will take note.  This did not happen here.

I'm of a mind to say this thread should NOT be deleted. As it stands now, there are three possibilities:

1) Original poster is accurate, and Stephanie is denying running a cam operation.

2) Original poster is lying, for whatever purpose.

3) Original poster and Stephanie are telling the truth, and a third party is using Stephanie's name to run the cam operation.

Thanks to the comments here, we have pretty much eliminated #1. The original poster could demonstrate #3 by posting a link, as requested numerous times. Without that, the fairest assumption is #2.

As long as this thread is visible, everyone can see that someone tried to smear Stephanie unfairly, for whatever reason. That's as it stands now, and the longer the OP doesn't post a link or some other evidence, the fairer it is to judge that he/she/it was looking to hurt Stephanie. Which makes that OP look bad, and Stephanie look better. If it's deleted, though, than there's nothing indicating that the OP was (apparently) acting in bad faith and that Stephanie has a history of being falsely accused -- a useful thing should be be attacked again in the future.  

So, since the only person really being hurt here is the OP, and they can undo it at any time, I say let it stand. I'm no fan of letting bad people escape the consequences of their actions.  

Oh, and Stephanie: you sound like one hell of a lady. I don't think I'd be a good client for you (geography and other personal reasons), but you definitely won my respect here. And I wouldn't even know you existed if this (presumed) jerk hadn't posted this.

She never had any connection to any webcam scam that I am aware of; certainly never mentioned it when I was with her.  She is a sweet lady who doesn't deserve this kind of mudslinging. I stand by my review of her.

By earning the praise and receiving credit as a result. Not from a negative, confusing inconclusive OP thread. But thanks. Thankfully a good friend brought it to my attention so I could at least defend myself. Otherwise I probably would have missed it and why scam anyone? Good old supply and demand works well enough for some of us with good product

I have been a member since 2009 and have never posted a comment or review on this or any other site, preferring to simply observe. So lets just say I need to feel pretty strongly about something in order to share my opinion. That being said, I had the distinct pleasure of  meeting with Stephanie in 2010. To date, it has been my best experience in the hobby. She is 100% on the up and up. You should consider yourself lucky to meet her if given the opportunity. Stepping away from the hobby for a while and geography is the only thing that kept me from being a regular.  You will not regret seeing this lovely lady.
