In order to maintain air-speed velocity, a swallow needs to beat its wings how many times to carry these through the air...

According to Monty Python's In Search of the Holy Grail, there is a difference....

Just the answer I was hoping for!

You see, this is how we weed out the cool kids ;)

Monty Python might be nerdy and outdated humor but I love it all the same!

"I don't know."  and then be propelled into a chasm.

I love Monty Python, always have and always will.

Good humor is never dated.

.......no, green!  A-H-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h

You are correct, Mr. Fisher, it's never dated.

When today's teenager is compelled to fall off the couch in hysterics, you know it's timeless.

he he how about lets play the shell game and see whats under the coconuts!!! goooddd oneee!!!!

Uhmmmmm, lets figure this out...

A European swallow must beat its wings 43 times per second to maintain air speed velocity but this 5 ounce bird can't possibly carry a one pound coconut.  So unless there are multiple swallows carrying these say, under their dorsal guiding feathers, the answer is unclear.

Alanna, I hope you are offering a special prize to those of us who made a valiant effort!!!
