Life could not be finer

Trying to get used to my new kicks  before my trip to Philly then off to get my mani and pedi  not exciting but peaceful  

Why does the world cloak itself in such riotous color before it gives way to the hard cold greyness of winter? I so enjoy this time of year. It makes me think of a gracefully aging beauty holding on but without regrets to the vanities of her younger self. The luster of her hair and smooth skin gradually giving way to sparkling jewels, fine fabrics, and artful makeup. The sheer exuberence of youth replaced by the wisdom and sophistication of experience. Each season enjoyed in turn.
