Do you ever want to call someone on a fake ad?

Let's face it, sometimes you browse places like Backpage out of sheer curiosity.  Maybe a provider is visiting and they placed an ad, or there's a fresh face with a couple of reviews that you wouldn't find otherwise because they have a weird area code.  So sometimes you look.

Today, I find not one, not two, but THREE ads for new providers in my area claiming to be visiting.  OK, so Google the numbers and look on here.  Google returns ads from a neighboring state with the same pics, but no reviews here.  OK, well, that happens sometimes.  So you dig a little more, just for the fun.  And reverse image search the pictures in the ad.  And ALL of the images from EVERY ad are stolen from other places!  Incredible!  Absolutely incredible! All pics in each ad are of the same person obviously, but each ad is all stolen images!

So - have any of you ever called or texted one of those ads (from a safe phone, of course) and asked the girl why she used stolen photos?  Or "borrowed", or whatever?  I'm curious if anyone has, and what reasons or excuses they've gotten, or if they've just gotten hung up on.

Never done it, but I sure have wanted to. My rough estimate is that 80% of the pics that appear in BP ads in any 24-hour period are fake. Some obvious (super slick model looking pics), others less obvious (until you reverse image search). The sad part is that they continue to get plenty of business, thanks to guys who put up with this:

"Not the girl in the pictures, but (PICK ONE):

my little head was doing the thinking."

I was already there, so what the hell."

I was just so horny!"

I had already given her the money."

I called someone out twice. one time they just hung up on me and the other time I texted them and they just didn't respond

Don't bother. Use your best judgement and hope for the best. While in this hobby you will get a few winners, but for the most part you will do ok. Just do your homework and if its too good to be true then it usually is. Be safe.
