Having not glanced at it in awhile, and in desperate need of a laugh, I decided to visit good old BP yesterday.  And what did I find?  Advertisers now have the ability to upload - oh dear god - videos of themselves.  It . . . it was like watching a train wreck.  Half of the videos were simply of a woman shaking her rear end, and the other half were girls walking towards and away from the camera, pushing their breasts together, and attempting to talk dirty and failing in miserable ways that would make the worst community theatre actor blush with shame.

We have reached the nadir folks.  The low point.  I don't think it can get any lower than this.  I mean it is funny in a sad sad sad way - it's a poorly taken mirror selfie, but in motion.  I don't even care to think what's next . . .

When I first saw the videos attached to BP ads, my initial thought was, "cool, a way to get a feel for the provider." But after viewing a couple my experience was similar to yours. I think the feature is a nice enhancement but the utilization is not there. On the other end of the spectrum, there are videos like Marla Lyons' that make you more interested. I doubt that her level of videos will become the norm but perhaps it will improve.

While I agree that there will be no AVN awards given for the quality of acting or production, I think you guys are missing the point. This feature adds another level of quality for us. If the girl posts photos and an accompanying video with the same outfit on you have a fairly good assurance that she didn't just lift her pics off of some Russian modeling site.

You do have a good point, Informed, that it theoretically providers another level of "reality" to said advertiser.  However, videos are just as easy to find, rip, edit, and post.  Unless the video contains said advertiser saying something along the lines of "Hey boys, I'm glad to be in _______, so please feel free to give me a call" - I look at them as the same way I look at pictures.  You just can't reverse image search a video like one would a video.  The video may be a very short portion of an amateur porn film, from the same source as the photos - Xhamster, as an example is chock-a-block full of video and audio of good looking amateurs.  

One must not underestimate that the Google abilities and creative energies of those invested in creating a fake identity made - their abilities may be as strong, if not stronger, than our ability to sniff said faking out.  And at this point, I don't think I would ever meet a girl off BP who did not have a link to either TER or P411 in the BP advertisement - fool me once, shame on you.  Fool me twice, shame on me.  I've been fooled twice, no intention of a third .  I will, at this point in my hobbying, take well established over young and fresh any day of the week and twice on Sundays.  BP exists almost solely for amusement in my mind, or if there happens to be a visiting established provider who chose not post advertise here but on BP instead.

Look I love TER as much as the next guy, but it doesn't mean that they own the market. And yes crafty souls can lift pieces through a variety of sources and get it posted to an ad, but it doesn't mean all BP is worthless. Most recently I met a young lass on BP, who has since gone UTR, who outperforms most I've come across. I'd share, but she's too good.

I don't believe TER is the be-all end-all either.  There used to be many more sites for reviews, verified postings, etc - some have gone by the wayside, some new ones have popped up, so on and so forth.  I guess I'm just coming more and more to appreciate reputation.  Of course chemistry is not always guaranteed, but reputation does mean something.  But everyone has to start somewhere, of course.  I myself was the 1st or 2nd reviewer of girls getting their start that I found through non-TER or traditional means.  Finding a diamond in the rough on BP is indeed possible. But possible doesn't always translate into probable.  I guess I just have bad luck, it's a distinct possibility.  Very very distinct.  My ATF was UTR as well, so it is possible.  As I often do when I post on here, I was trying to make people laugh by things I find funny, and I just found what I had seen to be funny.  And I don't blame you for not sharing - never sharing the name of my former ATF either (that was at her request anyway, and I always do everything I can to honor a lady's request - old fashioned gentleman that way).

Like it or leave it, sometimes you will find reputable ladies posting on backpage. Why? Most likely because we pre book appointments and they cancel.  

TER is a review board, very few book. There is an ad tab because you guys got tired of us posting our ads on the regional board. And some seem to not be able to find it, or else there wouldn't be ISO posts. Believe me, there is always someone, somewhere in the Boston area.
