Deciding to install a large generator at my house about 20 years ago after a long power outage was one of the best ideas I ever had.

Not only do I get to be comfortable and warm but I get to gloat too!

But seriously, I do think that people can learn and improve as you did in adversities like this.

My house was without power for almost a week, but with a 16KW propane generator it was at least comfortable.

I want to be sure the neighbors can hear it when they are shivering in their beds.

No wonder they've trained their mut to shit on my lawn.  Still it's worth it.

especially because it's next to my barn, which ricochets the noise toward my neighbor's house!  But in my neck of the woods most people have a generator of some kind, even if it's only a little Honda they wheel out.  I just love my Big Boy because it trips on automatically as soon as the power goes.

I've got sort of a Charlton Heston in The Omega Man thing going on.

After it revs up I grab a shotgun and start to blast the freaks as they zombie walk up my driveway.

And he plays piano! I was just trying to find someone to
pick up a 4'7" Baby Grand in Indiana for me .
