Well I just left my first trip to Vermont and New Hampshire and I must say it is a beautiful area.  I noticed a few things.  One being that I've never seen so many SUBARUs in my life than in this part of the country.  When driving thru Alabama up toward Tennessee I've seen lots of Nissans (esp. Altimas).  In the Motor City--lots of the Big 3 of course (as it should be).  In TX you'll obviously find lots of trucks (esp. in West Texas), but never have I seen so many Subarus before...and (might I add), lots of Volvos in the New England area too.  It's neat how different car brands/types are in different parts of the country.

But I digress from Lovely New Hampshire and Vermont.  Also wanted to comment that I've never seen so many BIRCH (unless I'm wrong and these are ASH?) trees.  They are some of my favorites and I'm sure in the Fall.  New Hampshire had lots of winding creeks and small rivers.  Very nice scenery.

Will definitely have to come back...  Enjoy your home states.  I know "I" did.

Tia!
